December 2009 Google PR Update and Happy New Year!!!

Well looks like the last Google PR update of 2009 is taking place right now or may all ready be finished. Once again we get to stroke our egos, at least hopefully.

Reply in Comments Fixed and Best Reply to Comments – Threaded Comment Plugins

Just wanted to let you guys know that I fixed the reply to comments and threaded comments so it is working properly now.
Had to upgrade to a newer version of the theme I was using and then implement the Wordpress Nested comments option in the Settings-Discussion area that is available for 2.8 and higher versions of Wordpress.

November 2009 Google PR Update

Another Google toolbar page rank update has just completed. It’s funny that this follows so soon after Google made a special announcement on their blog advising webmasters to stop obsessing about PR and how they deemed it so unimportant that they removed the PR info from Google Webmaster Tools Dashboards.

FTC to Fine Bloggers for Non-Disclosure on Blog Posts

More fun from big brother! It seems that the FCC has just announced that they will be fining all bloggers and social media posters up to $11,000 PER POST for promoting any company or product for which the bloggers has received monetary compensation or free products without disclousre to the reader.
