These would be the ones that you would target in the SEO campaign (in the anchor text of links, for example), and would be the ones that feature on the home page and other major pages in your site. However, these main (head) phrases are not the whole picture; you have to consider the “long tail” of search, and the fact that most of your search engine traffic is going to come from the many phrases that you would never find in keyword research or SEO targeting. It is a vital part of inbound marketing to create regular content that will target this long tail, and extend your client’s reach on the internet.
