Looks like Google has done another page rank update, so check all your sites. Looks like this PR update is pretty accurate at least for my sites. Most of my new ones went from 0 to 1 and a couple from 2 to 3. This blog still remains a 0, since it went from PR3 to 0 several months ago, not sure why, but as long as it still ranks for many keywords and is getting new subscribers I don't much care.
Though there had been rumors that Google will be doing away with Page Rank all together, and Google has said that PR matters very little in the grand scheme of things, looks like it is still active and being updated, usually at 3 month intervals.
Again, as always I am not too concerned with PR as ranking is more important and many times you will see PR0 sites outrank PR1+ sites. For those who want to sell advertising on their sites PR is still a factor as advertisers look for that as one indicator of quality and so a higher PR can yield higher prices for ad space.
So, how did you guys do in this PR update?

All of my pages, other than the index page, went to a PR of N/A. That has me pretty concerned even though I have done nothing to build page rank on the pages. The post pages seem unaffected so far. My index page stayed at a PR3 so far.

What do you mean “all your pages”, since you say the post pages are unnaffected? You mean actual WordPress page content, other than post content?

Yep, the actual WP pages we set up like the one I linked to for my URL above. They are not cached by Google either but neither is my index page.
@ Brian
That’s odd, do you build links to them at all? And your index page is indexed and has PR, but no cache? That must be a glitch.

I did quite well considering the newness of DE; taken from my PR post, lol….
My index is 2, my About page is 3 and approximately half of my single post pages have between 1-2.
My cash contest blog also hit 1 and for some reason the dead DSWM went to 3. LOL
Btw, just to clarify, Google is rumored to be doing away with the TOOLBAR PR; nothing to do with the inner PR.

Congratulations on that!!!
This PageRank update had no effect what so ever on any of our sites. Really a non-event. Hope this means a full deployment of Caffeine.
@ Dog
I think Caffeine should be launched any time now, if it hasn’t been all ready for some keywords.

Mine went from n/a to 0 xD. I didn’t build enought backlinks in related websites.
I saw an all around rise in rankings. Great update.
Also, looks like Facebook is finally PR10!

I have been seeing the thread of PR update in forums around but no changes have been made for all my sites, PR still remain as it was, but am not really concerned about it though its always nice seeing the green bar increasing its length!
@ Web
Of course it is!

Unfortunately, my website went from a 4 to 3 in this last update. My rankings have not been affected at all, but I did get an increase in SERPS rankings on a few terms. I’m not sure why the PR fell to a 3 since I’ve been constantly building quality links. My competitors did not see any PR change though, which is weird.

Mine went to a PR4 but I’m not fussed whether it went up or down. Like you what matters more is the traffic because without that it would be like I’d be writing but no-one would be reading and what’s the point of that?

My home page went from PR3 to PR4 (was stuck on PR3 for the last 3 ’rounds’). I also got quite a few PR3 and PR4 individual blog posts as well.
So pleased, all the hard work is being rewarded.

This pr update has been great for me and my clients. I had some pages jump from 0 to pr2 and some pr3. Keep pushing people. Keep getting those backlinks.

I think that Page Rank is pointless unless you’re planning on selling links which can end up getting you banned anyway.
It’s a little more valuable than Alexa, but that’s not saying much.

I agree with you on all counts.
My main site did not move which was a bummer (I know it does not matter, but I like to see it moving). A number of my new sites went to pr1 and I had a few internal pages move there as well.
Not sure how you get downgraded to 0 when you have as many links as you. Weird.

Cograts on your successes. I am baffled as to my PR as well, all my links are 100% natural, I do no manual link building for this site, and the only thing I can think of is that Google thinks I am selling links, which I’m not, but I do link out quite a bit, but that is usually the reason for loss of PR.

I agree that PR doesn’t really make much difference as long as your site is indexed and you are improving your search engine positions for your most important anchor text.
That said, most people are curious about their PR and it does seem to be an indicator of what pages Google prefers. Many of the blogs I visit most finally moved from PR3 to PR4 this update.
Kristi (Kikolani) did a great post on April 5, 2010 analyzing her pages that have PR compared to traffic and analytics data. She has more PR4 pages than most bloggers I know.
GrowMap finally moved to PR4 and my new KeywordLuv post is also PR4. 9 internal pages are now PR3 and 18 are PR2. I have a list if anyone wants to see it and send me any related links they want included in the page.
Kristi and I are both big on dofollow and some of my highest PR pages have hundreds of dofollowed comment links. It doesn’t look like do follow damages PR.

You are absolutely right ,don’t need to go after PR. It is the Search Result Position which matter most. While search for a keyword in google we can see a lot of PR0 pages outsmarts high PR sites. So its all matter is how much weight for that page for the keyword which we are searching.
This PR update really carried little weight for any of my sites. It doesn’t appear to have had much of an impact on ranking either.

My new blog is still PR0 but I had to change domain name the week before the update so no surprises there.
My main blog has gone from 5 to 6 though and I am well chuffed, it’s my first PR6 site

My Main blog page is Still PR 2 but it’s only 6 months old so I can’t complain. what I did noticed some of my posts moved up to PR 1 which was unexpected. I’m happy with the results so far so I have no complaints but then again I’m not really worried about PR much

“This blog still remains a 0, since it went from PR3 to 0 several months ago, not sure why…”
Probably a penalty. I had a PR penalty once and I was told Google thought I was selling links. Funny thing is I hadn’t been. I put a nofollow on every link on my website with a plugin, submitted a reinclusion request, and within a week my PR was back.

I do suspect they think I am selling links, but I’m not, and really why should I no follow all links that I believe in and are links to sites I believe in, that really sucks! But, I am considering doing this, or just simply doing a reinclusion and explaining that I am not selling links.

You might want to make sure that you don’t have spammy trackbacks/pingbacks and links to shady sites on your blog. That could be one of the reason for the fall in PR. That’s why I scan trackbacks thoroughly on my blog and don’t accept comments with links to new sites with spammy domain names, sex shops, gambling/casino sites etc.
