In the world of Internet marketing our plates are pretty full, with all we have to do, like link building, keyword research, website promotion, etc… there just is not enough time in the day. Probably the most time consuming task is writing content. Not only for our niche sites but also for article marketing.
Now, before the flagship bloggers start screaming this is not meant to replace your beautifully and thoughtfully written posts! This is meant more for the money sites.
Outsourcing is a great way to save precious time and brain cells by hiring others to write content and articles and especially for those of us who have several niche sites where writing content becomes an overwhelming task.
Here is a list of the best content and article outsourcing sites for content management on your websites and blogs.
Because these sites provide original content that is copyrighted to you, you can use them for on-site content development, as well as for article marketing and submit using Article Marketer, to Ezine Articles and all the other article sites without being penalized in any way.
You can also use Copyscape to check the content for originality, all though these sites guarantee originality and copyright to you.
Some of these writing outsources are really expensive and some are quite cheap, depending on your needs there is something for everyone.
Textbroker – This is the one I use and it’s the best deal in town. Articles start as little as 0.o1 a word and you can pick quality levels that cost a little more up to the highly technical articles.
There are tons of excellent authors for every possible niche. Basically you post a job, give the details and then writers send you the finished product to review. Once the author sends you an article you can ask for revisions and deny the article if you are not satisfied or accept if you are. I have only rejected 2 articles out of the hundreds I have ordered.
Turnaround usually within a couple of hours and they are copyscape checked by the website.
Terry Didcott – Terry is a great guy and writes quality blog posts. 200 words : $12; 300 words : $18; 400 words : $24
SEO Content Writers – $6, $10, $14 etc. based on Word Count
Quality Online Content – Starting at $3 per article.
Article Writers - Niche Store Content – Articles starting at $3.50 for 200 words. They also have package deals.
Also offer a unique service that is really a great deal: Squidoo and HUB page creation for $20 each or 5 for $90
Includes:
Articles and Beyond – Starts at $8, based on word count
Have Articles – Packages start at 3 200 word articles for $12 and get cheaper
Article Authors – Articles start at $8 plus they offer press release writing, custom ebook creation and ghost writing
SEO Article Writing Pros – Single articles starting at $13, plus package deals
Articles Alive – Package deals with articles starting as low as $0.023c/word
Website Content Writing – Starts at $10 for 125 words. They offer lots of services, like, technical writing, mini sites, ebook creation, movie reviews, press releases and more.
Your Article Writer – Articles start at $20. Also, ebook creation, website proofreading and editing.
Article Alley – Starts at $40 per article with package deals.
Article Base – Starts at $40 per article
Constant Content – Pre-posted articles by a variety of authors with various prices for usage, unique and full rights.
Niche Content – PLR and full rights articles, prices vary and can be pricey but there are good articles.
Informative Sources – Starts at $25 per article
Ghostwriter4you – Starts at $24 for 400 words. Specialties: natural health, alternative health, inspiration and Internet marketing
Freelance Writers – Promise well researched and SEO’s content. Starts at $15 per 500 words, package deals get cheaper
Deskins Writing Service – Quotes per order. They offer in depth research and you can buy content packages to build entire sites or blogs full of content that are well researched and SEO’d
iFreelance – Freelancers bid on your projects
BizReef – 250,000 freelancers bidding on your project. Includes, writing, web design, graphics, photos and programming.
eLance – All services, writing, tech, programmin, logos, web design and more.

Of course, placing a help wanted thread at DigitalPoint is always a surefire way to garner writers.

@Colleen
True, but I like Textbrk because it’s like one click ordering, same day turnaround and cheaper than the DP guys and they make sure it passes Copyscape.
It’s also better because the freelancers work for a site so they have someone to answer to and will not reuse the article they sell you like a solo writer may.
And not to forget Need An Article. Superb site that I use almost daily for my article jobs. One of the great things with NAA is that they will also write articles that can be used with Unique Article Wizard. Absolutely pricesless IMO.

Thanks for that.
You make some great points here, JR. You might also want to look into craigslist in developing countries. You can hire a full-time person for $200/month to write articles AND make your sites.

@jlbraaten,
You are totally right I forgot about CL, you can really find anything there.
a nice list, but tell me one thing whether these content writers whenever they right any content for any of their client, is it always unique and fresh and not copied or altered by word to make it look new
balbirs last blog post..Getting Cheap Traffic To Your Web Site Using Article Marketing
@balbir,
Yes that is what I meant by Copyscape passed, Copyscape scans the net to make sure the work is compltely original and I mean every sentence.
These services are not PLR articles but they are totally your own, you own the copyright and they are originals and will only be sold to you.
Excellent information JR. Not to get too far afield from the topic, but I am wondering if anyone can advisse as to a kind of 1 stop service for VA and Writing together?,
@lawed,
VA?
@JR, Virtual Assistant… In my case I’d be interested in having them submit to articles directories, publish videos to start.
If separate from writing that is fine. But, I have seen it all packaged together under 1 roof or from 1 person. I am seeing to outsouce in baby steps on a limited budget to start. So, I am just exploring the possibilites.
Thanks again
Lawrence
@lawed, I apologize for the typo. “seeking”
lawed
@lawed,
Well several of the places I listed do offer those types of services, they are usually quite expensive.
Also on the Digital Point forum you can find lots of people that provide those kind of services, all though I prefer to use the websites instead of individuals, but DP does have an iTrader rating which helps to evaluate reputation and honesty.
I prefer to submit my articles with Article Marketer they submit for me to thousands of places, but I see full reports and I know that I’m actually submitting the first copy to them and then they submit to all the article sites, again this is a company so it is safer than using an individual.
There is also this service, Video Post Robot, check them out.
@JR, Thanks JR. I appreciate the whys and hows as well as the references and links you reply with.
You always manage to include perspective in your posts and replies. It is very helpful.

Guru.com is a good place to find article writers and other contract workers.

I heard that we can actually look for cheaper writer in Craigslist, the rate can be as cheap as $5 for a 300-500 words article based on your niche. Anyway, I’ve not been thinking about hiring writer. Btw, JR do you hire anyone to write an article for you? How do you think?
Regards,
Lee
@Make Money Online,
Yes I do as I mentioned in the post I use Textbroker all the time, not for this blog, but only for my niche sites and money sites, I use them for the site as well as for article marketing.
No way could I write from scratch for the many sites that I have, there is just not enough time in the day, outsourcing is a must!
@JR,
I do agree with you JR. I have only 5 blogs right now but I’m just able to update my main blog once 3 days. I updated other blogs once a week. $0.01 per word seems a little bit higher, it may costs me $30 if I order an article with 300 words, but I do believe that they are all quality posts in your niche? JR, are you satisfied with the quality of your post?
Regards,
Lee
@Make Money Online,
No, that’s $3 per article not $30, I would never pay $30 per article, at least not all the time. Yes very satisfied.
Wow, before this post I’ve never knew I can outsource much of my writing work for such low prices. We always were charged up to $100 per article by various PR agencies. The only worry I have is a quality of language in a work for $3, $6, or even $10. Any experience with such cheap writers?
Dennis @ Covers and 3D Boxess last blog post..TBS Cover Editor v1.7 is released!
@Dennis
I use the first one on my list all the time, Textbroker, you can choose quality levels, I choose the lowest costing ones, at 0.01 cent per word. For around $3 I get very well written and researched articles on most any topic. Only a couple of times I got an article that was lame, so I rejected it and another writer resubmitted a new one.
Be sure to give precise details on the what you want written, including keywords.
And if you want really sophisticated technical articles you can always order the higher quality ones that cost a little more, but still very affordable. I am very picky and I use them on my sites and for article marketing.
There are really some great writers on that site. Plus when you find some favorites you can bookmark them in your dashboard and order from them direct. You can also search specialists by niche and their quality levels.
And the whole interface is very user-friendly because they set it up very well for organizing your articles into subject folders you create and other great features like that.
$100 per article? OMG, I would never pay that much, that would completely skew the whole profit margin
@JR, Thanks for detailed response. I will definitely use one of the services.
$100 it was a professional Press Release writing about product for sending to serious magazines and medias. Press Releases have some strict writing standards and require more detailed researches, so they are more complicated for writing and cost more.
@Dennis
Oh yea press releases are very expensive.
I do believe that outsourcing is a good way of acquiring content for your blog, especially if you don’t have the skill or the time. However, be careful of those cheapies — they don’t have the skill either.
Hanna @ Secret Cashs last blog post..Earnings Disclaimer
That is an amazing collection of outsourcing sites for article writing.
I personally prefer to use Digital Points or eLance.
Joni Hydes last blog post..Common Jobs Which People Outsource
I must say, I am not that good a writer.
Given enough time; thru editing and rewriting; it looks good. But only after a long long time.
Outsourcing looks like it might help me out.
Looks like this list might come in useful.
Randall
@Randall,
most definitely it will, and it makes life much easier, with all we have to do, writing just gets to be too much.
Another Great Resource.
Thanks, JR
Great list of article writing services. Thanks. It’s not easy to write your own articles day in day out so outsourcing some of your content is a profitable strategy if you can afford to. It also allows your website to be updated with fresh content on a frequent basis.
Jean
JR – in your post you mention that Textbroker starts at $0.10 per article then later in a reply to someone’s comment $0.01 FYI
@ Perry
Thanks for the heads up, the amount is actually .01, the other was a typo, it’s been fixed.
It seems like everyone wants to outsource, I don’t blame them – it saves time and money. You have a very good list of sites to outsource content writing. I would like to add fiverr on your list, although they do a lot of things but cost wise, they should be considered.

Thanks for the suggestion
My two favorite article services are Unique Article Wizard and SubmitYourArticle.com. Both these services make creating, spinning, and submitting content super easy. As far as getting original content goes, my most effective method is to take a pre-written article, improve it by re-writing the article in my own words, then using one of the above services to streamline the rest.
Most times all it takes is creating steps or lists from the content, and it’s already much better simply by organizing the info in the article better.
Most times people don’t care about outsourced content anyways, even if it’s original. It’s mostly for Google, and if you’re ignoring the fact that 90% of content effectiveness is a formatting issue, then you’re leaving money on the table. it’s all about turning your reader in to a prospect. I’ve found unless you can “tease” people with some great tidbits, then entice them to grab a free report from you in exchange for an email address, you can create an opportunity to give them a more in-depth answer while adding them to your email list.
I’ve had very few outsourced workers who can understand and write copy that works well for this method. You should consider a hybrid strategy to get max effectiveness.
