Won’t PLR articles raise duplicate content issues? Since these articles may have been used by thousands of webmasters. Some times it is even better to write from scratch because most PLR packs are just useless.

What you say is true, but the PLR can also help to get ideas about what to write, especially for those niches that are unfamiliar. Like Brian said, a quick scan and you can get tons of new ideas for articles, even if you write them yourself.

Hello Three Dog and welcome!
No for comments of course you need to list your sites, but as a flagship blogger I do not give away my niches and sites, too many haters and copiers out there like you said. Best to keep things separate and anonymous, I have heard some horror stories out there, when bloggers do case studies and give up their niches and sites.

I have had a lot of success with Squidoo, see my post: How to Squidoo this gives the steps to building effective lenses and keep them ranking, unless you use specific techniques they can easily fall out of G. A couple of my lense make me a steady 350-600 a month in income.

Sorry to post again. Re your earlier comments about not mentioning your other sites niches etc. It is something I have been wondering about myself but for my sig here I think it’s OK. I really think it depends on the niche you are in and if your content is so individual you don’t need to worry about theft, copying etc, also you give me a real quick link boost he he.

My main question however is squidoo. I have basically given up on my lenses and changed to my own sites. Over the last month my lenses have totally dropped of the radar. No more traffic from google at all on some. Are yours stil doing OK or have you seen something similar.

Hi JR. A good post post I do wonder if the time taken to rewrite the content would be better spent just writing your own. I find it very quick to knock out a few articles in an hour or so, and that’s with submission time.

Wow, I see all my friends here Nice post JR. I like to use PLR products as an idea jogger. I have hundreds of private label articles on my hard drive transferred to word pad to strip any coding and to make quick scanning very easy. Two minutes on it and I’ll have a new idea to run with. I close the articles and run with the idea and see what it looks like when I’m finished. Sometimes it will transform into something entirely different before I’m finished researching the project.
