I would take it a step further with the meta tags for buy laptops here. In fact, I would state the exact type of website brand and model. This way, you would have laser targeted traffic looking for a specific model already in the buy cycle crappiest websites last blog post..The Crappiest sites are crappy but happy!

Wow JR great information, I finally understand what meta tags are and how useful they can be. I didn't realize that the title and description were what showed up in the search engine pages. I will look at my posts in a completely new way now. Also, I noticed this is a do-follow comment process. How much value do you think Google gives to a do-follow comment. Thanks for all your help. I guess a lot of people get the whole description vs keywords thing wrong. I know i did when i started with SEO. For the beginner it seems like the most important thing is to fill as many words as possible into the keyword tag and the search engines will go through them and fin your site. Sadly (for the beginners) and luckily (for those who know what to do), this is not the case.

U have a nice and informative blog here JR, and i would like to thank you for sharing some of your knowledge.

Yes the robots.txt file is very important for SEO, and its contents should be personalized depending on the site or blog. It is NOT a part of Meta Tags but is created as a separate file and uploaded to the root of your web directory.
