Nice work JR. We have a few hundred lenses and thought I would find some misinformation, but found none. We’ve used Squidoo to generate traffic to our real estate site by creating lenses about community events, etc. For instance, search ‘church in west pasco wa’

I think I am doing it all wrong in finding the best keywords for a niche. I will try to follow the way you pointed out in your reply.

By the way JR, you did not respond to my querry about BANS. Is it making you money? Forgive me to ask that question. I am really looking for a program that can make me my first on-line income without so much out-of-pocket cost just like making a lens at Squidoo which is totally free.

When I search directly from Google search box:
allintitle:”on line gaming” = 2,340 results,
allintitle:”on-line gaming” = 2,330 results
BUT, when I research KW in SEO Book Free keyword tool and enter those two KW there are only 4-5 searches per day for these KW, so the traffic potential is very small.

It does show other KW’s when entering online gaming into the tool, some good longtails, that maybe better because they have more searches and possibly less competition.

The way I search for KW is detailed in my post Step-by-Step KW research I always look for the possible KW people are searching for by entering a main niche/topic in the KW tools and then check the competition in Google for the results that come up.

The figures I posted on your site are search results using the Google Adword Keyword Tool External. Am I doing it all wrong searching for the right keywords?

Thanks again JR. Actually yes. The spelling is “ON LINE”. I research a bit and your spelling “ONLINE” has more results than my spelling. The right spelling I think is “ON-LINE” but there were no results. I used the Google Keyword Tool External. Here are the results:
on line=1,300
online =201,000
on-line=no results

But I think searchers will not use the hyphenated word and that is the reason why I am choosing the keyword “ON LINE”. Please give your comments on this. Thanks again.

Yes I have 3 BANS sites, those were the ones I started with over a year ago now. Two of them are doing very well, the third one is following behind.
I am currently working on a couple more.

BANS is $97 ONE TIME fee, no other charges ever, the software is yours, then you just buy domains and hosting, and you can build unlimited stores, the good thing about BANS is the ease with which you cab build stores, it is very easy, especially when you learn the set up process, another key to BANS is original fresh content and lots of it, and no auction links on the home page.

Internal link building on any site is very good. If you notice I do it a lot within my posts, good for SEO and also good for visitor bounce rate, as it gives visitors more stuff to look at on the blog and keeps them here longer. The links in comments, is to help the person I am responding to so they can just click on what I am referring to.
